Jacob Zack is a national security professional with over a decade of experience translating complex policy, research, and operational realities into credible narratives that inform decision-makers and advance policy dialogue.
Jacob is currently a Senior Technical Advisor at 413, LLC, where he supports senior U.S. government stakeholders on strategy, program execution, and communications across national security portfolios — including security cooperation, counterterrorism, and international engagement. He develops analytical and communications products for senior audiences across the Department of War, Department of State, and interagency partners.
Previously, Jacob held roles at the United States Institute of Peace, the Department of State, the Wilson Center, and Georgetown University, focusing on security sector governance, stabilization policy, and international security research. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, supporting large-scale corporate strategy and M&A engagements.
A PMP-certified program manager and published author, Jacob brings analytical rigor and narrative clarity to complex environments. He has worked across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and is fluent in multiple languages.
