Walker D. Mills is an active-duty officer in the US Marine Corps, serving as an MQ-9A ‘Reaper’ pilot. He has previously served as an infantry officer and foreign area officer. He has been published in a range of places including War on the Rocks, USNI Proceedings, the Marine Corps Gazette, and Military Review. He is also a co-host of the Sea Control podcast and a senior editor at the Center for International Maritime Security (CIMSEC). He holds a BA from Brown University in history and archaeology and MAs from King’s College, London and the Naval Postgraduate Schools in International Relations and Modern War, and Homeland Security respectively.
